Bridal Shopping

I've always thought that starting to look for your perfect dress can be really daunting & overwhelming & I couldn't have been more right!

As much as I have loved trying on different dresses & feeling like a princess, it is a really confusing time. You may think you know what you want & then you try the dress on & it really doesn't suit you or you might be like me & not really have a clue what style of dress you want!

So to help you all out, here's my checklist of what to do before & during your search :)

1.
Have a look on the internet on Pinterest or google to see what sort of thing is out there without having a fire breathing shop assistant nearby!

2.
Print off pictures of any & all styles that you like to show the shop assistants

3.
Choose some bridal shops near you that you think will be suitable

4.
Go with a few people (e.g. mum, mother-in-law, bridesmaids) so that they can offer their opinion & be honest! Even if it can be brutal at times

5.
Don't let the shop assistant make you feel like you have to buy it - take your time & go to as many shops as you like!!

6.
Feel confident in the dress that your choosing & don't just settle because you think that's the best you can find

7.
If you can't find a dress to fit you, have one made!

8.
Find out the prices of all the different styles you've tried on so that you can fit it into the budget

9.
Wear comfortable & suitable underwear!! (Very important :))

10.
Have fun with it! Your only going to be able to do this once (hopefully) so make the most of it :)

Hopefully you'll find some of these tips useful during this amazing & oddly overwhelming time! Like I said, remember to enjoy yourself & at the end of the day, it's your decision! You want to feel beautiful & comfortable so that you can make the most of the big day!

Happy shopping :)

Love,
Dainty Bride xx
