Another product that I've had for ages, love but have never thought of reviewing. So the time has come for me to introduce the Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel to you!

Travel | China Adventures

Back again & this time I have been asked to write another post based on my recent travels. Unfortunately, when I travel I don't get to spend all day every day immersing myself in the local culture as I'm usually working 8am-8pm (sometimes 7am-12pm). This most recent trip was to two places, Guangzhou in China and Hong Kong. My trip in to Guangzhou was a 3 day whirlwind of 7am-12pm days so maybe next time I will be able to explore some more so for now it's just Hong Kong.

Straight away let me tell you, Hong Kong is absolutely fantastic. It is a brilliant clash of East meets West, rich meets poor & culture meets hedonism. I was in awe most of the time I was there at how diverse it was, walking round the mix of people was fantastic. I would liken it to London in it's diversity but far more concentrated and with higher buildings. I did the usual tourist traps of Wan Chai, Star Ferry, The Peak & the shopping malls but I also wanted to try & experience some of the more local experiences. I find the best way to experience a place is through it's food, the highlight being sat at a communal table on my own with a variety of Chinese characters as we all ate Char Siu Pork and Roast Goose. A favourite was Kam's Roast Goose (my entire meal of four dishes and a beer cost £12), a michelin star restaurant similar to a canteen but with the best noodles you will ever eat, sunken in a bowl of goose fat and broth. Best thing about the food is you can eat at a michelin star restaurant for under £10 as well as for over £200, giving you everything you could ever want.

The Wedding Rings

Choosing your wedding rings is one part of being engaged that you don't really hear all that much about to be honest. Maybe it's because the ring isn't as sparkly or maybe it's because people don't really mention this during their "engagement" activities.

That said, it's very important!

Whether you want to spend £100 or £1000, you need to choose carefully & enjoy the experience.

If you've seen "Bride Wars" with the amazing Kate Hudson & Anne Hathaway then you'll probably know how they felt right about now. Stressed, tired, excited & not wanting to part with even more money.

Fabulous Five | Blogger Style

Recently, I found myself looking through posts from last year when I first started my blog & I came across one I did about my top 10 favourite bloggers.

A year on, I thought it'd be interesting to do this post again...

(only this time with 5 extra special recommendations)

1. The Londoner
I love everything about The Londoner's blog. She seems down to earth, offers expert advice & lives the high life! Oh what we all dream of! I can't say that there's a style of post I prefer as I love them all whether it be food, travel or style! Definitely worth a visit!!

2. Ivory Lane
I absolutely love Emily's blog. Her style is classically perfect & makes me want to buy everything! If you're looking for some style envy or should I say style inspiration then this is the place to go.

3. Classy Girls Wear Pearls
Another style icon of mine. Sarah's style is quite different to the two bloggers above but I love it just the same. Her adventures are also definitely something to admire & aspire to.

4. The Little Magpie
This blog is a fairly new discovery of mine but I've quickly fallen in love with her style posts above all. Her instagram is also to die for! A classic styler with some edge.

5. Oh January
Another new blog for me to read & another new favourite. I love how she covers such a wide variety of topics & keeps me thoroughly entertained.

Make sure you go over, give them some love & check out last year's favourites here!

Everyday Makeup

I do love a good "look" post that I can utilise for a night out or a special occasion but there's nothing better than an everyday look that's simple & doesn't take forever & a day to do.

Here's mine...

OOTD | Summer Layering

Oh I do love the sunshine & being able to walk around without a heavy layer on top, although even during summer I can't not have a little layering.

Jumper - H&M
Top - H&M
Necklace - H&M
Jeans - ASOS
Shoes - New Look

What's your go to trend during summer?

Review | NARSissit Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow Palette

NARS has quickly become one of my favourite makeup brands. It feels premium yet not so expensive that you gasp at the price. I already own a variety of their products each of which haven't disappointed & this NARSissist Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow Palette is no exception.
