York Travels | OOTD

After weeks of grey skies & drizzly days, the sunshine finally came out & shone on us in York. It was such a lovely family weekend away & the perfect opportunity to bring out some summer comfort.

You'll have noticed this beauty featured on my August Favourites this month & it just so happened that I also wore it for my birthday & conveniently took some snaps!

August Favourites

Somehow, I managed to miss out a July favourites... not sure how I did that but it happened. Oh well, onto the next.
1. iPhone 6

Sad I know. But since I got my new phone, I have been loving it. I'm not usually too fussed with phones but everything about it is better & it's sleek & simple.

OOTD | Exploring Bath

Continuing my love of denim, I opted for these comfy beauties for strolling round the streets of Bath. They're the perfect accompaniment whether it be sunny or cloudy. Paired with some Ray Bans & my super soft Paul Smith top, I was all set to go.

OOTD | Blues, Bay Trees & Bath

You may have noticed a slight theme with my outfit posts... They're often blue, comfy & involve a pair of jeans.

The last two seem to be my "go to" when I'm deciding what to wear. I love jeans. You can really dress them up or down & they're perfect for so many occasions. Plus, they go with pretty much everything & last forever & there's nothing more important than being comfy. However, remember not to compromise style over comfort.

OOTD | Dungaree Styling

Who knew that dungarees would come back around? I think this is maybe the 2nd or 3rd time this has happened since the 90's & I'm loving it.

OOTD | Oi Oi Sailor

You can never go wrong with a classic stripe. Simple, summery & versatile. My three favourite things!

OOTD | Ocean Blues

If you know me, you'll know that I'm a real blue lover. Any shade of blue & I tend to purchase.

This was my drive down outfit as each item is really comfy & moveable, perfect for a long car ride. Also, espadrilles have stayed around this year & I'm so happy as these beauties are beyond comfortable & go with pretty much anything!

OOTD | Fisherman Casual

There's nothing I love more than a good old parka. This one has seen me through for a good few years now & never fails to disappoint an outfit.

Spring Wish List | Clothes

Spring comes around & I seem to develop a printed, pastel colour theme. I love spring & being able to wear those slightly prettier/girly clothes. I need to get my hands on ALL of these!

Spring is on it's way & so are beautiful shoes!

I've already got a long list of things I desperately want & it seems to be getting bigger & bigger. Not good when you're trying to save for a house & a wedding at the same time.

I've come to realise that I'm definitely a comfort & casual girl. I love to be warm, cosy & feel comfortable at all times! There's nothing worse than wearing an item of clothing that's really frustrating & keeps moving or sits in the wrong place.

At the minute, I've been loving winter greys with a pop of colour!
