Seaside Indulging

There's nothing better than some good quality food when you go away on holiday & Cornwall definitely offers that & more. Whilst we were in Padstow (& anytime we go really) we ate the "standard" seaside food as well as venturing out for something a little bit different.

Penta Hotel Launch Party

Last week, I was lucky enough to be invited to a launch party in Derby for Penta Hotels. To be honest, I'd never heard of this hotel chain before so was a little sceptical as to what it would be like. I did some research & discovered that it's actually a worldwide hotel chain with hotels in places all the way from China & Belgium to Birmingham & Warrington.

Not wanting to be a loner all night, I took fellow blogger Sarah from Seriously Shallow which definitely helped with my nerves & meant that we could have a good old chat & giggle!

The hotel chain itself claims to be a new generation of hotels. They provide a relaxed & informal atmosphere & have a very rustic interior design. Each of their hotels has a "lifestyle lobby" which is multi-functional being a reception, bar, cafe & a place to relax.

I always find that Fathers Day & Mothers Day are a little awkward for buying presents. You don't want to splash out too much that you then feel like you have to keep it up each year but you always want to treat them for all that they do for you.

I've seen plenty of Stila beauty products on the shelves but have only just come across the skincare range. Usually, I'm pretty picky with what I use but for some reason I couldn't resist trying this!
I opted for the 'Undercover Conditioning Toner & Moisture Prep' in case I didn't get on too well with it as it was one of the cheaper products (or should I say "less expensive?")

1. Tangle Teaser

I have finally (after about 5 years of having wanted one) bought a tangle teaser & my gosh do I love it. As a girl with long hair, I'm suffer massively with knots & tangles to the point where I dread having a shower as I'll have to tackle the mane. Since buying this, it's made brushing my hair a dream. If only I'd bought it sooner.

Holiday Wish List

It's come to that time of year again where I spend hours upon hours searching for those perfect holiday outfits. I'm having a girlie holiday this year as well as my honeymoon so need to find some versatile pieces to suit both types of holiday!
